It seems like Hello Games is in no mood for break as it is reported that there’s already something pretty big in the works. With just a few days to launch of the much anticipated “No Man’s Sky,” the developer has teased that the team has wrapped up work on the first big patch of the game.
“5am at Hello Games. Wrapping up a month of work on our first update. Lots of new features, balancing and content,” creative director and studio founder Sean Murray tweeted.
Murray’s promise of “lots of new features” and “content,” has more likely created a very big hype among the hysterical fanbase. However, the director stopped short of revealing when the patch will be released for the gamers.
This comes right after a Reddit user Daymeeuhn’s claim of reaching the centre of “No Man’s Sky” massive universe within just 20-30 hours. The said gamer has reportedly spent over $1,300 for a copy of the game on eBay and even posted footages of the game’s PS4 version including 24 minutes of gameplay. He even posted a video of himself installing the game on his PS4.
“So, I’ve reached the center. For now, I’ll just keep it a secret. I realize it is “the secret” of the game and I’m sure other people will spill the beans for clickbait sooner than later, so fear not fellow spoiler hounds – someone out there will feed your appetite I’m sure,” he wrote.
Disappointed with the entire incident, Murray tweeted to the fans of “No Man’s Sky” stating “We’ve spent years filling No Man’s Sky with surprises. You’ve spent years waiting. Please don’t spoil it for yourself.”
Nevertheless, the recent tease about first update has hinted that the developer has plans for new content for the game in future.
