‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6 Spoilers: EPs Tease Aladdin’s Story With A Twist

With the “Once Upon a Time” Season 6 all set to air on September 25, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have teased a bit on what the fans can expect in this season, especially with the new character Aladdin, to be played by Deniz Akdeniz.

“With the Land of Untold Stories and with Jekyll and Hyde, I think you’ll see that the Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar story folds in neatly,” Horowitz said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

He added that the “Once Upon a Time” team will more likely be putting a twist in the Aladdin’s story and also acknowledged that the Aladdin and Princess Jasmine’s (played by Karen David) love story to be the central part of the new story.

It is reported that Aladdin will be introduced in the premiere episode titled “The Savior,” as another Savior and that Emma Swan, played by Jennifer Morrison, is not the first or the only one.

The EP’s also revealed a possibility for a time jump in the upcoming season, and the fans will get to see more of Henry and Violet’s relationship. Season 6 will also dwelling in to the Captain Hook’s (played by Colin O’Donoghue,) back-story territory, while Emma and Hook will still have lingering effects of being the Dark One, according to Entertainment Weekly.

In other news, the much-awaited “Once Upon a Time” season 6 cast will include Craig Horner as the Count of Monte Cristo and Giles Matthey as Morpheus. Hank Harris, Sam Witwer, Karen David and Oded Fehr will portray the characters of Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, Princess Jasmine and Jafar respectively.
