However, it is not yet clear that if Scorsone’s pregnancy written into Amelia’s story, who just got married at the end of last season or if the 34-year-old actress will be given a break.

“I think they don’t want to burn through all that story, but I also think that last time they wrote my pregnancy in [on ‘Private Practice’], and I think Shonda [Rhimes] is going to give me a break on this one,” Scorsone said in an interview with Cartermatt.

The actress was not sure of what is going to happen as the baby is due to arrive in the middle of next season’s production. She went on to joke that the show’s director of photography will have some “very fancy footwork,” as she speculates Amelia’s wardrobe in the upcoming season to include a wider variety of “lab coats” in order to conceal her changing figure.

“They’re definitely going to have to do some fun hiding,” Scorsone added to Entertainment Weekly, referring to her baby bump. “Super camera work and super wardrobe time.”

As for the new couple Amelia and Owen, the actress noted that they will be dealing with life after that quickie marriage in the finale. She said that the couple will have to figure out how to be married, which is a very big question for anybody, especially the two who are deeply wounded.

The much awaited “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 is all set for the premiere on Sept. 22.
