It seems the much awaited “Criminal Minds” Season 12 will more likely be sans Aaron Hotchner from the third and fourth episodes, as the Thomas Gibson has reportedly been suspended from the show for a while. As of now, it’s not clear as to how long.
According to the production sources, Gibson got in an argument with one of the show’s producer and kicked him in the leg, while he was directing and acting in a scene.
Gibson has been gone for around 2 weeks, and his future in the series, is said to be under review, after this physical altercation.
“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will,” said the actor, TMZ reported.
It is speculated that Gibson will be written off the series, for at least a few episodes, as it happened in a similar issue back in 2013 with CBS, when CSI co-star George Eads got into a dispute with a writer.
In other “Criminal Minds” Season 12 spoilers, there will be a new recruit to the BAU in the upcoming season, Adam Rodriguez to play the role of Luke Alvez, tasked to help with a case from the past, TVLine reported.
“Criminal Minds” Season 12 will also have the fan favorite Paget Brewster back as Emily Prentiss, for a few episodes, while Aisha Tyler, who plays the character of Dr. Tara Lewis has been promoted to series regular.
