It seems like the much awaited “Supernatural” Season 12, all set for premiere of Oct. 13, will be back with some more interesting crazy stuff, especially with the return of “The Thule.”
Showrunner Andrew Dabb has just teased the fans that the fifth episode in the upcoming season will see the Winchesters – Sam and Dean, fighting Hitler.
“We’ve got something really cool coming up in Episode 5, where it will be the triumphant or not so triumphant return of the Thule, who have decided to enact their master plan and bring back Hitler,” said Dabb, TVLine reported. “And the way we describe our Hitler is ‘a psychotic Richard Simmons,’ so a little different than the standard portrayal. Sam and Dean are going to fight Hitler, and that’s opening up some interesting doors for us in terms of just doing some more crazy stuff.”
In other news, creator Eric Kripke has confirmed that the “Supernatural” series will continue as long as Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles stay in the show. CW chief Mark Pedowitz also talked about the future of the show, stating it has got a lot of gas left still.
“Jared and Jenson, I believe at least, they seem [like] they’re very happy,” Pedowitz told the Entertainment Weekly during the Television Critics Association’s press tour. “I’m thrilled with the creative direction of the show. Creatively, the show is terrific. If the ratings hold, this show could outlast my tenure in this chair.”
Pedowitz teased about the possibility of a spinoff stating that it has just not happened yet. He noted that the decision is up to the studio and the team will be developing it whenever they are ready.
