‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers: Sheldon & Amy Moving Together?
It seems that “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 will see the third couple in the show – Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), finally taking the next big step of moving together, especially after Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) getting married.
“There are some big experiments in store for them and their relationship,” EP Steve Molaro said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “A good way to trick Sheldon into doing things is by framing it in terms of science.”
However, Molaro stressed that this big step of moving in together will be just an experiment for now. He added that though Sheldon’s tendency is not to understand social cues, he will be able to understand what this move means in their relationship.
“It’s not a trick, he’s aware of what’s happening,” Molaro noted. “Everyone will have all the apprehensions of whatever they’re gonna feel and they’ll work their way through it like they have for the last six years.”
The EP also made it very clear that these experiments will have no effect on the core of the long-running comedy series, as he stated “At the end of the day, as long as those people are gathered in that living room to hang out and eat dinner, I think it will always be the show.”
This has led to the question that has been popping up for a very long time – wedding for Sheldon and Amy?
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Molaro mentioned about a ceremony taking place, but stopped sort of revealing what the ceremony was. When asked if it was another wedding, Molaro simply said I don’t know, and explained that wedding for Sheldon and Amy is something that the team is not ready for right away. Nevertheless, now the fans have got to know that Cohabitation may be in the cards for the upcoming season.
Not to forget, the future of the show, after Season 10, is still a mystery, as none of the series regulars have renewed their contracts following this season. It is also reported that the cast members are actually seeking pay raises from their contracts that was renewed two years ago.
The much awaited “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 is set to premiere on Monday, Sept. 19.
