Raven-Symone Shares Sweet Wedding Photos With Her Wife
Yes! It seems congratulations are in the order for Raven-Symone, as she had got married to her girlfriend Miranda Maday on June 18, 2020, in a surprise ceremony.
“That’s so Raven” star revealed in a post on her Instagram account that she is now married to a woman who brings nothing but utter joy to her.
“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home. I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new asshole!!! I’s married NOW,” Raven wrote on Instagram.
Miranda also shared this happy moment with her Instagram followers, in the post that read “8PM – my wife for life,” alongside a heart emoji.
The couple have opted for a home-bound ceremony in their backyard, while keeping the guest list to a very minimum, due the COVID-19 pandemic. Both of them have posed with their wedding pictures in their backyard, with Raven being in all-black outfit, while Miranda has gone for a white colored ensemble.
Miranda Maday, according to her LinkedIn profile, she has been with the entertainment industry for more than a decade as social media manager, a personal and executive assistant.
Raven immediately followed this post, with another one, thanking everyone who helped with the wedding at a crisis time like this. She also added thanked others who understand why it was small during this time.
Raven had been hinting at this, with her post yesterday, when she said “something happened this week, that had changed my life FOR THE BETTER.” She also shared a snap of a glass of champagne.
As per the pictures on her Instagram account, there have been only seven people in attendance, all wearing face masks, in line with the safety protocol of COVID-19. Hollywood Actor Debbie Allen was one of the guests in this private ceremony, while Erica Summers had officiated the wedding.
‘A quick break from freedom fighting to CELEBRATE! Joy is an act of resistance and what says joy more than looooove (and Gucci jumpsuits)?!’ wrote Summers, as reported by Daily Mail. ‘Through protests, pandemics, “Purple”, and BY THE POWER VESTED IN ME…these two angel babies are married!!!!!!’
